A large, fluffy animal that is farmed predominantly in the more northern regions for its high quality wool.
Fluffles stick together, forming large “clouds” to keep themselves safe. They also sleep this way, to share warmth.
Despite carrying such a huge weight of wool, fluffles skip or bounce rather than walk, so although their legs are usually hidden beneath their thick woollen coats, their strength should not be underestimated.
Their muscular legs and size make them a common pack mount in colder regions, where their wool can also be used to nestle against during the bitter nights.
Their preference for jumping, combined with their sheer weight, also makes them a common battle mount in areas with more difficult terrain, where ramming an enemy off a cliff, or quickly jumping away to safety, are more useful traits than charging speed.
A fluffle will reach adulthood at around 2 years old, where it will have usually grown to about 90% of its full size. It will continue to grow until about the age of 10. Most fluffles will grow to around 4ft. tall, although some northern fluffles, usually raised for battle, can grow to over 6ft.
